Going through the activation of ministry through beauty for ashes involves reminding women of who God says we are. Since God placed me on this mission it has been effortless and compelling to share the love and identity God has for the women I’ve encountered. It’s been beautiful to see women let go of the world’s view of who they are and embrace freedom in who God says that they are. God gets the glory in it all and

it’s an overwhelming joy to be used by God for His purpose.  Every woman that sees the truth of who she is finds that healing and hope that our Father wants for them.  That brings me so much happiness

Rahab in Joshua ch. 2 and 6
She was a prostitute. She was unlikely, by man’s standards and who they said she was, to be used by God. However,  she decided to hide two spies to save her family and be obedient in God’s plan for Israel.

The world saw her as unclean, unloved, and broken.  God’s identity for her changed when she fixed her eyes on Him. She was always His masterpiece,  beloved, and held a secure future.
We read about these women:
Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary.
All of these women faced ridicule for their choices, where they came from, sin,  or circumstances.  They each had worldly labels but God had a greater purpose for them all. These are all women in the genealogy of Christ. We then spoke of the lies people say about who we are and even the lies we say over ourselves based on our past sin or things that have been done to us.  Afterwards, we prayed for God to show us the TRUTH of who we are.  On a list of Scriptures and identies we read and knew who we were in His eyes.  We placed those truths on a crown and wore them as we declared our true identities.
It’s an honor to remind women of who God says they are and to remind them of Christ genealogy of seemingly not chosen women.  God did have a great identity and greater purpose for their lives.  However,  something seems more difficult.  It’s hard to believe it for yourself.
I struggle everyday thinking of being unworthy, unclean,  unloved,  alone, and broken by my past.  It’s an everyday healing process to speak truth into your life that God says:
 I am washed clean.
I am beloved.
I am an ambassador of Christ.
I am never alone.
I am free.
I am forgiven.
No one can take that from me unless I allow the enemy to use them to take it. My dear friend said this to me: If a robber broke into your house would you give them a weapon to hurt you? Would you give them the keys?
My answer today is no.
Don’t let the enemy steal your identity.  Stand firm in who He says you are.  The women of Albania got to experience this understanding  for the first time.  Walls fell down. Chains were broken. Testimonies were spoken for the first time. God is healing.
Remember this, sweet friend, when the enemy wants to say who you are.  You are loved.
Trish Brock

My name is Trish Brock and I am writing you about a door God has opened for myself and my family to share the gospel. My husband and our 5 kids moved to Clinton in July 2021. He is active duty in the army and is stationed in Fort Hood, Texas while I work as a medical assistant part time in covenant health offices locally. I raise our children here and have a good community of family and friends that help in his absence. Last year, I had the opportunity to serve in New Mexico with a women\'s ministry that struck a fire in my heart to continue it locally and anywhere God calls me to. Our children have been apart of this ministry too. Currently, I host women\\\'s ministry meetings at KARM in downtown knoxville once a month and twice monthly at a womens transitional home in Lenoir City. This women\'s ministry is through a non profit discipling organization of missionaries called Adventures in Missions. The women\'s portion is called Beauty For Ashes. It is a ministry that exists to share God\'s restoration, hope, and healing with women through ministry and training. Through doing this ministry and applying it in my personal life and community, the organization has offered me full time opportunities to serve as a leader for missions all over and local. Our children get to be a part of the missions too which is wonderful. Last year, we did mission work in Asheville, NC which led to our 9 year old\\\'s baptism. This has been a blessing as I have felt the Lord calling me to this since I was a young girl. In order to keep our children involved, our home cared for, and sustained while I work and do ministry I need financial support. Our local church is Friendship Church off ball camp road in Knoxville and they are all volunteers without a fund for missions due to size at the present moment. We are prayerfully requesting help to do God\'s work and trusting that He will provide if it be His will and plan for our family. Would you allow me a time or space to come share what God has been doing in and through our family as well as the opportunities ahead?
